Brand Identity
& Emotional Positioning

Year

Ongoing, São Paulo

Borboletinha Cake was born as an artisanal confectionery led by a single mother, built on care, dedication, and a deeply personal story.

The challenge was to transform this origin into a brand that could go beyond product, creating an emotional connection strong enough to differentiate it in a saturated market, where sweets are often reduced to aesthetics or price.

It was necessary to build a brand capable of translating affection, memory, and meaning into a clear and recognizable identity.

Solution

The project started from the creation of the brand itself — including naming, visual identity, and communication strategy.

The core concept was built around emotional memory, using childhood references, fables, and symbolic elements to create a sense of familiarity and comfort. The communication was designed to evoke lightness, calm, and a subtle sense of nostalgia.

Beyond branding, the work included:

  • Development of a complete visual identity system

  • Creation of brand language and tone of voice

  • Website design and digital presence

  • Structuring of communication aligned with storytelling and emotional connection

Impact

Borboletinha Cake evolved from a small artisanal production into a brand with clear identity and emotional resonance.

  • Strong connection with customers through storytelling and memory

  • Differentiation in a highly competitive confectionery market

  • Consistent visual and narrative language across digital platforms

  • Reinforcement of brand values rooted in care, affection, and authenticity

Story

Borboletinha Cake is not just about sweetness — it’s about memory.

The brand was designed to reconnect people with a softer version of time: childhood afternoons, simple joys, and the emotional comfort that certain flavors can bring. Through visual language and storytelling, the project transforms each product into more than a dessert — it becomes a small pause, a moment of calm, a return to something familiar.

It’s a brand that doesn’t just sell cakes — it delivers feeling.

Let’s Work Together

You have a great business.
The problem is no one knows it yet.

Every day you deliver work you’re proud of. But when someone finds you for the first time — on Google, on Instagram, through a referral — what they see doesn’t match what you deliver. It’s not a quality problem. It’s a language problem. And that’s fixable.
